We are an independent congregation — not part of any denomination — striving simply to be the church you can read about in the New Testament.

Our worship is Biblical and reverent: a cappella singing, prayer, the Lord’s Supper each first day of the week, giving, and preaching that stays close to the text. Our work is the work the Bible gives the church: evangelism, edification, and caring for those in need.

Our leadership

The congregation is overseen by its elders and served by deacons, after the pattern of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. Our minister works under the elders’ oversight — you’ll find he answers to “brother,” not “Reverend.”

Our plea

We hold no doctrine but the Bible and wear no name but Christ’s. Our plea is the old one: in essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, love. If you can show us from the Scriptures where we are wrong, we will change — that is a promise.
